The Dogmother
Here's one for Egluntyne... A friend who usually fosters abandoned lurcher pups is putting her heat pads to good use, looking after 4 tiny hedgehogs who were rescued locally. I'm sure she won't mind me spreading the love by posting photos here as they are just so gorgeous. 2 of them have had to be handled for medication, but she's trying not to have too much contact with the others so they're not so human-friendly when they are released. The coloured splodges are so they know which is which when it comes to weighing them. This is Dave
mullethunter
They are gorgeous! Hope they all make it.

The Dogmother
Adorable!!! What an amazing thing to do! I know, I'd love to do that if I had the time. Last year she helped Lurcher Link by taking in an abandoned, pregnant lurcher... the dog almost immediately had (I think it was) 6 poopies, which the charity re-homed to good owners. She's amazing, and they all did so well.
jimnpaula
It's so nice to see hedgehogs with no ticks! My mum is quite proficient at catching hedgehogs in her garden, weighing them, and then feeding them or taking them in during winter until they are big enough. Egluntyne
Fantastic. It is a lot of hard work, so well done to her.
The Dogmother
She has back up from the rescue, but I think that she's well used to rearing babies. They do zoom around a lot less than 7 lurcher poopies though
Lavenders_Blue
Awwww, how lovely. I adore hedgehogs. It looks like they are being really well looked after - they won't want to rough it when they grow up!
Luvachicken
What sweet little things. Just love hedgehogs but hardly ever see one.
