Easter Swap 2016

Recommended Posts

Hope that doesn't mean whatever it is has broken in the post!

I hope not :(

I was cross with the postman once before with a Christmas swap that was very clearly labelled FRAGILE all over and the postman shoved it through the letter box onto the concrete floor below - ok there was a doormat - but not a soft landing.

Luckily my swap was undamaged :D

My lovely son, who came home from Uni yesterday and whose birthday it is on Monday, was very excited to see a parcel in the lounge.

But sadly his excitement was short lived when he saw it was addressed to luvachicken :lol:

Poor thing was very disappointed :(

I really want to know what is inside.

I am excited to see what you all have too !! Having withdrawal symptoms as cannot get to sewing machine right now and for the last 4 weeks as getting new carpets in all bedrooms and one we painted and waiting for the fitter to come and do the last one - spare room stuffed with things and cannot see the machine far less use it!.

:D I've opened my parcel to find a fabulous crochet bag - in the shape of a chicken! With a little crochet chick accompanying it, of course.

It's lovely, thank you so much to my swapper. I'm going to try to post a photo but I have to go out imminently to have lunch with my sister so it may have to be posted this evening.

Sounds lovely.

Thank you my Easter bunny, photos to follow. I've received a needle case with owl felt cover beautifully made and lovely textures. Also some beeswax candles, a pretty decoupage empty egg (alright I haven't eaten all the chocolate truffles yet), a handmade card and an egg strainer. :D:D:D

My new kitten loves the box

Thank you too to my Easter swapper.

I've been made 2 lovely drawstring bags and a pretty purse.

The purse had some choccy eggs inside and one of the bags had bottles of Molton Brown :D

I will post later as have family coming coming for the next few days.

Thank you so much Easter swapper, I will find a use for all of them :D

:dance::clap: Well done you lot!

I just do Christmas Cat tails - I'd never get anything else done otherwise. Like sanding down woodwork and finding you've missed a hole to be filled. At least I haven't spotted any missed knotting . . . yet! But in between I've been tackling a quilt!
