BeckyBoo
I only have to open the back door and I'm surrounded by chooks!! Failing that if I shout "CHICKENS!!" they all come running, it looks really funny! In fact they get right under your feet and I've accidentally trodden on three feet today Mrs B
Chooks Aloud
If I sit down and pat my lap, Dolly comes running, jumps up on my lap for a cuddle. she closes her eyes and makes contented noises. She's so lovely.

The Dogmother
Mine come to a whistle and go straight in the run if I whistle and walk down there. A couple of them like to sit on laps or shoulders; the original Ruby Tuesday used to sit on my shoulder and croon softly in my ear.
BeckyBoo
.................I think mine have trained me Yes, if I think about it that's far more likely to be the truth at our house too! They only have to cluck and treats are forthcoming through the back door..... Mrs B
Suziwoo
I go with the cry of 'GIRLS!!!!' and the three of them just come running from whereever they are in the garden. It never ceases to make me smile. They look so funny charging towards you from the bottom of the garden. I'm sure they think it means they are about to get corn though, which isn't always the case. We made the mistake of keeping the plastic tub of corn by our kitchen doors (glass to the bottom) and they recognise the box, so keep pecking at the window. As soon as the door is open they are in and pecking at the box. Today I was back working in school and felt really guilty at leaving them in their run. They were clucking away from the moment they got up - I hope it didn't annoy the neighbours! They raced out when we got home at 4.30! menagerie
I shout 'here chickies' and they come running - but I have to throw raisins to actually get them in the run! Generally they follow me round anyway, it's like having a little herd of ducklings traipsing along.

robskyd
If we shake our tub with corn in they all come running. Maddie can catch a grape thrown to her in her beak, which I was impressed with!!
