Guest Posted October 3, 2007 Share Posted October 3, 2007 I don't think it's as black and white as yes/no- whereas I think I am going to enjoy their antics and personality, the initial reason I wanted to get them was partly for eggs and partly to rescue them and give them a better life (they're ex-batts)- I don't intend to make pets out of them as such but I'm sure I will be fond of them. I thought they would be just egg laying beasties, but they are so much more than that. And I look after them and talk to them as much as to all my other pets. In fact I have never thought of them as anything else.
