Chickens don't seem to mind though, been wandering around for four hours now looking very bedraggled. Then it brightend up and the sun was shining Now its still a bit bright but getting colder. Olly Posted October 28, 2007 Share Posted October 28, 2007 I was away for the weekend ... didn't get home till 5.45 and they were all in bed, not surprising as it was dark (on the way from Norfolk to Essex) by about 5.15. This means I will only see my chooks in the mornings from now on, as I don't get in till 6.00 on weekdays. And soon it will be dark when I get up as well I didn't get them till February so I haven't gone through a winter yet ... I can foresee I'll be filling the feeders by torchlight, though!
