And do they realise that self sufficiency and glam do not go hand in hand? We like the natural garden - ie: our trees and holly hedges need cutting!!! Way too tall & overgrown - hubby's latest idea is he wants to buy a cherry picker!!! Come on girls whose going for this filming??? Must be someone on here!!! Whose the one with the lovely long hair who got married, greek connections?? She'd be perfect for the part & glam too! Our chooks are knee deep in mud at the bottom of the garden and our allotment is bare at this time of year. Should have looked to interview us glam types in the 'summer' when we could have been wearing Cath Kidston tea dresses while harvesting our lollo rosso... Yes I agree - as usual they don't have a clue - and will not find anyone to fit tall their criteria! I fit the age bracket but not sure about trying to live the Good Life - we do our bit but not to any mega-extremes. Definitely not glam, as anyone who has seen my picture on the front of the newsletter can testify!! The programme Faking It once approached my OH's work to look for a volunteer to take part but apparently OH wasn't geeky enough! That would have been amusing.
