after months of worry and tests...

Recommended Posts

I have just got back from the docs who told me the results of my 24 hr monitor and my echo. My aorta is no worse than it was before and likewise for my floppy mitral valve and its consequent regurgitation.

So, in effect, it's stable, so that's brilliant news! :D

Now they just need to find out what's making me so tired but I'm just so relieved that my heart isn't any worse than it was before.

Yipppeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!:D What a HUGE relief

he even asked me how the chickens were! He came to see me at home last time because I was in no fit state to get to the surgery and so we showed him the chooks ;)

I told him about HFW's prog tonight too, hope he watches.

He's trying me on some new medication, fingers x'd but yes, a very positive start to 2008, thank you :D

Fantastic news Poet.

Now,isn't red wine very good for the heart? I reckon you deserve a celebratory glass :P

now there's a darn good idea, will calm me down and take the edge off, in readiness for tonight's viewing!

Fantastic news.

Are you able to go back to work?

not yet, the way I feel right now I don't want to, but we'll see what this new course of treatment does for me.

Great news Poet. do you think the therapeutic effect of your chookies has helped?:lol:

well, if I'm honest they made my anxiety worse to begin with as I worried about them constantly. I've calmed down a lot now and don't worry about them nearly as much and am really enjoying them now, so I think they are beginning to help me! :D

who needs a quack when you have a cluck!? :D
