xChicken04x
Hi all, just thought I would share some pictures of the girls in the sun . First up, Clover. Magic and Spice. Uma (Looking very weary of the camera). Nutmeg, Uma, Lacey and Magic. Little Missy relaxing under the cube. Spice posing by the grub. Miss Gem having a snooze in a sun spot. Lady Lacey Uma and Magic forraging behind a tree stump . Nutmeg Lacey again, with her bald head, still don't know how that happened . And little Mischeif again. Hope you liked them . xx Edited February 13, 2008 by Guest

Rolo Rabbit
Thank you for putting your pics here. Ours are still weeks away from arriving so it's lovely seeing everyone elses. Can't wait to be a 'chicken lady' although that's what the girl at the hairdressers calls me already as I talk about them non- stop.
chickencam
Lovely girls, mine are looking a bit shabby at the moment, too much mud. I've just let mine out to free range it has taken this long for the sun to creep round to the back garden.

Ain't Nobody Here
How do you embed pictures like this into messages? If you're using Flickr click on the size of photo you want (medium is best) then click on "2. Grab the photo's URL:". Paste it into your post, highlight it and then click on "Img" button above. For Photobucket, I think you just click on the "IMG code" below your photo, then do the same as above. Not sure if you then need "Img" or not . Hope that's clear . xChicken04x
Thank you all for your lovley comments Jayne H, I will try and get some better pictures of the girls run tomorrow Chelsea, Clover was asleep on the first picture, but was rudley awoken by the camera flash . They all look a bit miffed on the pictures, they don't really like the camera once they have figured out it has nothing to do with food . Uma looks scary on the third picture, I think the sun was in her eyes, then I come along and the camera flashes in her face . Can't really defend poor Magic, she has always looked a bit....how can I put this? Butch? If she didn't lay eggs then I would sware she is a cockerel She is lovley to watch, but doesn't appreciate cuddles or any human contact for that matter....none of them do appart from Clover and Gemma, hence the terrifed look on their little faces . But of course they are your best friends if you have a bag of spinich . xx
alih
They are beautiful chickens! is that hemcore you have there? Have been using bark chippings but it seems everyone recommends hemcore so have been to order some...is it light enough to be blown about by the wind? Looks very clean!! Hi, yes we use hemcore in the run, but it has wood chippings mixed in, I've never seen it blow away, but I think its becuase our run is a mixture of hemcore, pea gravel and wood chippings. They love the gravel to scratch in and its great excersise for them. I'll go and take some more pictures for you all..... xx
