AnnieP
Today I drove a round trip of 5 and a half hours, navigating the M4, M25 and A1 (twice: there and back), in torrential rain, hail, snow and thunder storms to return the Mother In Law home. Well worth it!
Linda
and registered for an OU course . Ooh, what are you going to be studying?
Linda
I have had a great day. I went to collect three new chickens and am now the proud owner of a french copper black maran (more copper than black!!)and two silver-pencilled wyandotte bantams. They are all adorable and now making friends with Coco, our gingernut ranger who has been on her own since her friend Poppy died a couple of weeks ago. The introductions went much better than I expected (imagine phew! emoticon) so fingers crossed for a happy day for them tomorrow.
Guest
and registered for an OU course . Ooh, what are you going to be studying? I have studied with the OU before and did quite well, BUT it was too close to my day job for it to really hold my interest. So this time I am starting from scratch with something completely different; Humanities.
Linda
Yes, it can be much more rewarding to study something that really holds your interest. That should be very enjoyable for you. I did a couple of Psychology courses with the OU BC (before children!). Good luck with it.
Lesley
What a lovely family day out Just to be really nosy - how large did Carl make his beer mugs? Not big enough he says! It was 'Pottery without a wheel' so it's not too easy to make bigger items - it (yes, just an 'it') will hold about half a pint. No problem really as he will just sit nearer the barrel

Lesley
I'm surprised he bothered with a mug at all - just the syphon tube with it's tap should be better

Guest
and registered for an OU course . Hope you are better at home studying than I am! I'm s..l..o..w..l..y.. working my way through my course, at about a third of the speed I had anticipated. Really must spend more time studying and less time on the forum!
