Mrs Frugal
GMTV had one about the French president having pioneering stretching treatment to make him taller than his wife.
Egluntyne
I was rather hoping that the one about breaks from housework was not a spoof! Edited April 1, 2008 by Guest

Guest
GMTV are doing one now about a weight loss cream called 'Sotox', so obviously fake! They did one last year about diet water! Wish they were less obviously fake
Janty
I thought the pregnant man might be,but apparantly its true I glimpsed at the newspaper headline about the 'pregnant man' a couple of days ago. It was in a petrol station as we were driving off. I just presumed that it was something like The Star or The Sun being stupid or something. Louise
Apparently Melrose Abbey is to be painted yellow and black to celebrate the local rugby tournament Bloke on the news this morning said it was a bit drab looking and this should cheer it up

Geoid
British Waterways install speed cameras to combat brisk boaters. British Waterways have been forced to install speed cameras along some of their busiest waterways in order to combat speeding commuters, who have taken to the water to avoid traffic congestion on the roads and public transport during rush hour. Snowy
I've just helped the little ones play a fool on their big brother (who is still in bed). We made up a parcel to look as though it had just been delivered, from his cousins in Canada. When he opened it it contained a peanut butter sandwich! The boys thought it was fun anyway! Popcorn
GMTV are doing one now about a weight loss cream called 'Sotox', so obviously fake! They did one last year about diet water! Wish they were less obviously fake I saw this too. I'd forgotten it was April 1st and was having trouble getting my head around it all while I watched it inbetween pottering about getting ready for work. I then had a random conversation with a colleague at work who mentioned he was on a diet and I told him about the GMTV story. As soon as I heard myself telling the story, I realised it sounded too good to be true and that it is infact april Fools Day. ......and what a terrible West Midlands accent she had. HOW VERY DARE SHE
The Dogmother
I found out that the one in the Mail was the picture of 'Alastair Darling' doing a lottery scratch card. I must admit that I hadn't even considered that one, and though that it was the story about having collagen injections to increase the size and *errrmm* sensitivity of your G spot!!! £800 a shot... I ask you!
Cinnamon
I wondered about that one too. It makes for a different read when you look through a newspaper with a cynical eye, doesn't it?

Tessa the Duchess
Apparently on April Fool's day Mercedez always do a spoof ad for one of their cars, so look through your papers. I don't get a daily paper Tessa
