U Ling
I notice there are Eglus posters from around thw world. Any already in Hong Kong ? Would Eglu be all right on balcony (very large, but apartment) ?
AnnieP
As long as the floor is solid, I am sure it would be fine Murdo, oops, I mean U. We wouldn't want Poo Poo's dropping on under floor neighbours' heads now, would we?
motherhen
Dear Madam U Ling I believe that they do this sort of thing in New York. I'm sure if you search the web you can find details of how to do this. We will be delighted to welcome the first Hong Kong eglu (have you decided what colour to get yet??? ) and we will all have a Chinese Takeaway to celebrate. Please pm details of where to send the bill for the food
Lesley-Jean
Dear U Ling I think a poll to decide the colour of the first eglu in Hong Kong would be in order
chocchick
Dear Mrs Ling, and welcome to the forum. I have heard red is a lucky colour in the orient. How about a and glug and grub? Does this mean that omlet has gone truly international now, and we will all be able to visit you on our holidays?! Will you be getting traditional chinese chickens? Lesley-Jean
Hmmm... is a red glug and grub really the right choice to go with a red eglu

motherhen
Oh dear Martin You've found one of the more surreal threads we had going over the weekend Basically Murdo was feeling a bit demoted by MD, so decided to create a character called U Ling (underling ) and we all had great fun This I'm afraid is the sort of slightly sad form of entertainment that adults are reduced to when they have devoted all their time, energy and money on their wonderful children Anything you are far too sensible not to get, just ignore
