What's in your cuppa?

Recommended Posts

oooo I love drinks!

First thiing in the morning I HAVE to have a green tea, followed by a glass of cranberry juice, if I'm daring I have a cup of coffee (go all funny if I drink too much caffeine),

then throughout the day its green tea with lemon, green tea with cranberry, any fruit or herbal teas really...and a lovely Clipper organic sleepeasy tea to go to bed with (chamomile, cinnamon and valerian).

Oh, and a bit of red or white wine to wash it all down :lol:

i used to love coffee (proper coffee, or Nescafe gold). Then I found if I didn't have it for one day I had dreadful headaches. Switched to tea... same thing :(

Now I'm having 100% organic cocoa (either Black & Green, free trade, or the one from Hotel Chocolat), with a bit of sugar and milk... it's yummy, (but I'm cutting down on it as I've just started a diet this morning.) :?

Wine is lovely too: red in winter, chilled dry white in the summer, and white zinfidel (rose) at any time as I can guzzle it down as if it was water... I love water too and often do one glass of wine to one of water - avoids hangovers like nothing else!

...but of course, now with the diet... :(:evil:

For me it's Hot Chocolate, late afternoon/evening with about 3 or more biscuits-any kind really!

Unfortunately I go for Cadbury's hot chocolate, we did try the Fair Trade stuff from the Co-op before, but even for me it's far too cocoa-ey and is literally Cocoa with some sugar in it.

Coffee. Lots of :D

I normally drink about 10-14 cups a day, would have it on a drip if I could.

Not fussed if it's instant or not really, but much prefer a nice latte from "gilbert"

Kate likes the look of him and keeps threatening to take him away

In the evenings tho I do like a glass of wine, rose generally and if it's a party night then I move on to vodka and coke.

It's amazing I get so tired

A cup of proper coffee first thing in the morning. No milk ever - horrid stuff. Then I try and avoid tea and coffee through the day. Redbush or lemon and ginger at work. If it's a bad day then another coffee at break. As the week goes on I need a second cup of coffee before I meet kids in the morning (my mornings start earlier than most non chicken peoples!)

I love tea though, From a teapot. Not in a rush with a slice of lemon and a nice biscuit - almost as good as an egg and toast soldiers on a sunday morning.

, tea isn't the big thing... which anyone who's ever tasted lipton yellow label tea won't be too surprised by...

Oh gosh, that is such VILE stuff. When I worked, I travelled extensively, in Europe and much further afield. My heart would sink when I found those littrle yellow bags in my hotel room or, worse, at breakfast.

I love my morning cup of tea, but I would rather go without than drink Liptons.

I happen to like Liptons Yellow Label tea, but then I drink my tea black and fairly weak. Mr Webmuppet also likes Yellow Label tea, he too drinks it black and not too strong.

I also drink decaff fair tade coffee (black with one sugar) or rooibos and vanilla tea with a dash of honey (otherwise known at work as stinky tea)

Hot chocolate with squirty cream on the top! Ooooh! can almost taste it! Hot choccy goes down great on a winters morning watching the snow fall softly outside, whilst snuggled up in front of a log fire with man and cats! You get the picture now... I'll shut up!

Gilbert does look nice... big too...

Sirius gives me my coffee... he's smaller but makes a decent coffee

My mum quite likes lipton yellow label tea as well... but then she's never really had 'proper' english breakfast tea... I have started to take my pg tips with me on holiday!! I would take them to mum's too, but worry she'll be offended...

I might offer her a box of various tea one day as a present... come to think of it that's not a bad idea, she once had earl grey and quite liked it... could make her a tea gift hamper... with digestives and shortbread, and some marmalade...

Lisaroo2... that description of that hot chocolate moment sounds heavenly...

I like a lot of things but my current drinks are decaf tea/fairtrade caffeinated tea in moderation (No sugar and cow milk.) /pepperment tea/red bush tea.

I like green tea and Earl Grey and my friend has a spiced apple tea but I can never see it in the supermarket. She has Chai too, should buy it.

I like to eat cake with it when I can :D

Not so keen on coffee as bitter and have to have 2 sugars in it to drink it without suffering. I get shakey/headachy on strong coffee, partly as I don't have much caffeine now.
