Get together on the South Coast

Recommended Posts

We're in - date depending, of course. Love the idea of a pot luck picnic - they're really popular round here. We have a pot luck barbie every so often. Dragthree barbies out the front, everyone brings their own meat and another dish to share, and away you go!

Hiya, I have consulted my social diary. Could you decide between you which of these two dates will be best, we have shows on other dates and the first date sugested clashes with my brothers engagement party here, ( dont suppose he will appreciate us 'Omlette Fans' having a cluck over his hog roast and bar b).

The dates that I suggest are Sat 29 July or Sat 5th Aug

Please e.mail me privately for directions. I am just 10 mins from M25, so hopefully fairly easy to get to.I will send directions nearer the time.

I look forward to hearing from fellow Omletters,

Oh yes the badges sound great, I often forget my name! te he

:DThat is so kind of you Tamsin and Thorpe is really not very far from me.

Unfortunately, I can't do August 5th and probably not July 29th either (plans not quite fixed yet). :(

I am really really disappointed because I can't go to Burghley either and to come to you would be SO easy and convenient. :(:(:(

It's a fabulous idea all having a get-together, and I'm definitely up for anything in the South East, and will always consider more distant venues if at all possible. But I'm not at all sure that I can make either of the dates suggested, since it's school summer hols and we've got a lot of friends/ family get-togethers as well as a holiday planned. When there's a final date I'll confirm, but I'm so upset that it really is looking unlikely now :(

may I recomend Royal Holloway in Egham (junction 13 on the m25)

www.rhul.ac.uk

or we could all meet at virginia water parks. i normally have picnics at the lakes, and sit by the waterfalls and roman ruins.

(there is also a large pub within walking distance)

I will be there where ever it is!

Thats going a bit East for those of us in the west Country! Nice place though.
