After a wonderful day in the garden freeranging with the others if a little slower and pestering me for treats, my beautiful rescue girl Sprite died last night.

 

We had a final cuddle sat next to the firepit after the others had gone to bed, and she was very settled. I put her back in the eglu surrounded with her friends, and this morning she had died

 

She was the s"Ooops, word censored!"piest looking girl for the longest time, with straggly feather growth long after the others got theirs, but when they did come through boy were they worth waiting for

Karen im so sorry to hear that Sprite is gone, very sad indeed.

 

I remember when you first rescued them and reading about all their antics, washing up bowls the lot!

 

Sprite has obviously brought you lots of happiness throughout the time she spent with you and such a shame she is no more.
