we are talking about MY imagination, I didn't say it was 'do'able

edited to add, I see them on the ends of her wings personally, an orange shade would be so her colour. ;) and maybe one of those excercise balls for her to leap on to jet propell herself over..

Just caught this thread for the first time, absolutelly hillarious!!

I have a GNR called Maisie and she is an absolute terror too, her favourite trick is to climb the clothsline prop when I inadvertantly leave it over the net fencing, she climbs up and jumps over then has full range of the whole garden and flower beds!

You gotta love em

that is great, she looks like a clever character :lol::lol:

what is it that is so tasty on the other side!!

I was thinking just the same thing  , is there a big bucket of meal worms just out of shot on the other side of the fence we can't see?

Or is it just general chicken nosiness, and the grass is always greener :lol: .

Well, I know you're all expecting a lush, green paradise (or a big bucket of mealworms  ) through that gate. What else could be more inviting than a garden with grass, flowerbeds, shrubs and trees and any number of worms and insects?

This is the sorry truth  .

So, yes, it's just general chicken nosiness - they'll all head through the gate in a flash if I leave it open. They just love to help me keep all the stones on the driveway tidy :evil: .

wonderful, ANH  Thank you so much....

Barbara (my bluebelle) is our escape artist - but what really makes me laugh is the way that, having got over the chicken wire and having the freedom of the garden, she then panics because she's not with her friends and runs up and down the fence bokking madly to them - but doesn't seem to be able to fly back the way she has come (despite not using anything other than wings & sheer determination to get there across in the first place). So then I have to go and open the gate and skuttles back to tell them all about the Big Wide World ....and we repeat the process an hour or so later

Having said all that, in most respects she's probably the brightest of my girls. But I didn't choose them for their brains
