Senior moment

Recommended Posts

I have just filled the watering can that I use to fill the glugs, added Battles Poultry Tonic and then absent mindedly watered my vegetable seedlings with it.

I haven't given the hens Tomorite to drink though! At least I don't remember doing so!

Oh dear.

You never know they may grow huge after that! - I was away this week and the first night when he shut the cat in the lounge he fed her a scoop of hen food instead of cat food - she was not amused in the morning he said - very senior moment too

I can imagine the look of disgust on your cats face  Cats have the most fantastic expressions :lol::wink:

One day last week I asked DH to fill up the kitten's bowl with her dried food, easy enough task you would think  Instead of her food he absentmindedly gave her a bowl of peanuts that we put in the wild bird feeder, we keep all animal food in the same cupboard. She was very confused and flipped them all over the floor :(

Its definately something in the air this week :)

I filled up my car with petrol, went in to pay and completely couldn't remember my PIN number for the life of me. Bit of panic as it is also our house alarm code! Had to ring DH up and ask him what the alarm code is, in front of girl at petrol paydesk - I bet I made her day! I use that code every night and morning - mind went completely blank :?

I did that once after only a week of not using my card, and had to change it

My favourite is going to put random things in the fridge, then realising

I'm only in my 20s

Putting a potato in the oven when it is switched off doesn't help it to cook either.

Or turning the house upside down looking for my wallet and finding it in the fridge.

What does that say about my mind.

I am only in my early 20's too

being a similar age to Christian :liar::lol: .......... I find it very worrying when I go to another room to do something, get there and can't remember what I need to do/collect and then have to go back to where I was originally in an attempt to remember what I needed to do :roll:

It's called 'Roomnesia' Pam  I do it too, and all the others, except that Egluntine's is priceless!

I went to a school meeting, came out in the dark to my car, got into said car that had just had its alarm deactivated (lights had flashed); looked at inside of car and couldn't work out why the dashboard looked different!!! Then realised, as I promptly got out and let my friend into HER car that I had been sitting in trying to get my key into the key lock :oops: Luckily it was my friend's car :? Well they were both black  Not that I am one of those women who says "well it was a black car officer" or the like

My excuse is sadly I am not in my early 20s but will be 40 in less than 2 months time :?:?
