Ain't Nobody Here
Met a friend in town today who I don't often see (despite living 2 streets away). If she hadn't said "we're off on holiday tomorrow" If I hadn't said "we're off in a fortnight" If she hadn't said "who's looking after Riley?" If I hadn't said "my friend Helen. She's looking after the chickens too" Her: "You've got chickens ? I really want to get chickens . I've been looking at eglus " She's coming round once we get back . Joojoo
Someone who I went to school with (23 years ago) runs a company fitting fascia boards etc. We needed some new ones so I called him to come and give me a quote. First thing he spotted in the back garden was the eglu and the ladies. Is that a coop? How many eggs? Are they noisy? Are they easy to look after? How much is an eglu? What is the website called? Think he might be getting one too It's official chickens are contagious (in the nicest possible way)

Cate in NZ
It's amazing how popular chicken keeping is becoming, when I first got mine I was the local mad chicken lady, but gradually I found that more and more people were expressing an interest and even going ahead and starting to keep chickens themselves . I hope that you all manage to convert a few more people to the joys of keeping chickens (can't wait until I can start keeping chickens again myself )

Louise
The occupational health nurse here has been pestering her husband for chickens I saw her last week and she said he is coming round to the idea she just wants to get to know her new neighbours a bit better before taking the plunge

Yorkshire Pudding
Marj and Daph are doing a bit of chicken evangelism this summer too. A friend is chicken sitting for us this summer as a 'chicken trial'. Her husband really wants some, and her daughter is already very fond of Marj and Daph. After having fresh eggs and charming, well-mannered chooks in her own garden for a fortnight, how can she possibly resist getting a few of her own? Do Omlet do commission? BarbaraJ
lol even more local here, my neighbour wants some now only thing i'm a little aware of is having never seen a fox anywhere in the vicinity or heard anyone mention seeing one he will smell 2 lots of chooks close together! ubereglu
haha! That's great. Remember if she does buy an eglu get your friend to tell Omlet that you suggested it to her as you get a gift voucher for the shop!
Egg Lou
Spreading the "omlet" lurrve!! I look after several car Dealerships.. was talking to a member of the Sales team at one of them a couple of weeks ago and it turns they saw an Eglu recently and have been trying to find out where is was from ever since as her Husband would like to keep chickens! Needless to say I have been boring her rigid ever since with chicken/cube/omlet info!
