Jen&Rog Posted July 14, 2008 Share Posted July 14, 2008 Sad news I'm afraid.. one of my 'new' ex-batts died this evening. Poor thing was not well when I got home from work, I thought she was broody, but then got worse, heavy breathing, eyes shut, comb blue at the edges, I knew it looked bad. Then as I went to pop the girls to bed she was all still; must have passed away on the nest at about 8.30pm. At least she had a couple of months and was full of life right up til the end.
