I've lost my personal diary- NOW FOUND!

Recommended Posts

It went missing some time on Monday

I feel quite out of sorts without it, as I have a brain like a sieve & it had lots of little future reminders written in it.

If any one sees a big pink Daily Planner for Women would you please let me know?!

Oh dear.

Do you back it up onto your phone planner or anything?

I used to have a little pink Filofax for my bag,as well as a big calendar with all our appointments on it in my office, but use my phone calendar more & more now.

Hope it turns up for you soon!

Oh dear! I hope it turns up soon.

Something I do (and it works :!: ) is: when I'm in bed, before I go to sleep I 'instruct' my subconscious to send any information to help me find whatever it is I've misplaced. Then I go to sleep. Usually first thing in the morning I get the 'idea' to look in some place, or 'realise' where did I put the item in question, at that crucial time when the phone rang and someone knocked at the door... you can imagine the scenario... so hey presto! there are blessed keys, in the utility room where I left them while unpacking the detergent and the cat food...

It's either that or turn the house upside down... not recommended...:anxious:

Good luck

Keep following that nagging idea in your mind of somewhere to look. OH has lost his diary too while we were moving house. It could be anywhere...174 boxes to look in a for a start. If I find a pink planner I'll let you know....

Oh! :? I do hope you find it.

I use a small diary now, which I keep in my bag but my main point of reference is a wall planner in front of my PC.......I have goldfish brain most of the time these days!

.......and I still managed to miss two appointments last month

I hope you find it - I'd be lost without mine. I don't think dh realises it exists though as he certainly never checks it before booking stuff!

If you don't find it I get mine from Organised Mum (they're online, won't post URL in case that's not allowed) - they do a fab range of family oriented calendars and diaries and are produced by a work-at-home mum. I think they're fabulous.

I hope that you find it soon Jules; has one of the boys borrowed it to crayon in?

I used to keep all mine and Rosie's appointments on Outlook on the home PC... until some eejit techie down the road fried my machine and I lost the lot... all the birthdays and addresses.. everything! I now have it all on my Hotmail calendar so that I can pick it up from any computer

I definitely had it at work on Monday, as it was on my desk while I was checking some dates. I could have left it out on top , but I asked the cleaners & they didn't see it, & all my work collegues know that it has gone missing- it's not even small, it's A5 size!

It's not been handed in on the bus, nor is at my parents.

I went to a school performance that night & it's not there, nor in the car- I do chuck my bag on the floor near the passenger seat, I admit.

I use my lovely chicken bag all the time, & it is open at the top, so maybe it could have been stolen?

I'm resigned to the fact it has gone. I have a calender in my kitchen on which I duplicate most things, so all is not lost regarding my forgetfulness. .

I'm just cross with myself!
