Well mine is sitting under the "tree" - Its a Christmas Card tree thingy as I've been a BAH HUMBUG and not got the tree out this year. It looks very lonely sitting there!!

I've decided I'm going to open it on Saturday night before I go to bed - then I can join in the excited posts on Christmas morning. I know I can't take it with me - it feels like something foody and all sorts are prohibited in the States. We have to be at Gatwick for 8.30am Sunday so it won't be happening on Sunday morning!!!

I do agree, I think there should be a 'Thank You' Santa thread so we can all thank the anonymous donors! I'd love to know what other people produced (although slightly scared that own gift might seem a bit dull!).

I'm away for Christmas, and not much chance I'll be able to post from eldest brother's house without causing comment (the computer? on Christmas Day? what on earth for?) ... so I might open mine on Christmas Eve.

Mine has arrived and thank you to the person who sent it so well wrapped. We have a dozey Postwoman and she left it precariously balanced on top of the outside post box - not ideal but luckily it wasn't windy. She has already dropped something that DS ordered. I hope it isn't broken! She also used to deliver mum's letters which is a different round to us until someone complained about her. Possiby something to do with a paper trail of letters that fell out of her bag which were left to the residents to sort out and deliver! When she is on our round we sometimes don't get mail until 4.30! Then she said to us that she would have come sooner but she couldn't be bothered and went home for lunch instead. Can't help thinking that this 4 mph idea is for her! Come back normal Postie!!!!!!!!!!!

So the pressie is now sitting under the tree - oooh I so want to peek.:anxious::shameonu:

Mine went off the other day, I made sure it was on it's way - I took it to the sorting office.

I still don't have a secret santa pressie. I posted mine on Saturday, but haven't heard anything in this thread from the person who was supposed to be receiving it.

Me neither, but I'm not panicking yet - Christmas post and all that, things are probably taking a while to arrive, and the recipient may not have logged on since it came. I hope everyone will confirm receipt, although there's not much we can do about it if it doesn't get there!

Ho! Ho! Ho!

My present has arrived! :P:P:P

Only one slight problem - I wasn't in when it arrived and the Royal Mail card says I have to produce proof of IDENTITY, eg a passport or bank card. So I was wondering, tomorrow morning, any Omleteers around who can vouch for my true identity as Fizzle Knit?:lol::lol:

Thankyou anyway to Ann Onymous - can't wait to pick up my pressie tomorrow!

I had to collect a box from the sorting office today, and fortunately wasn't asked for ID - think I may have been very unladylike had I been asked mind you, due to feeling about 82% & the annoyance that the parcel hadn't been stamped  (replacement boots for a pair of damaged ones, but that's another story!) and the card had been filled in that our "letter box was too small to deliver the item" - umm, it's a door that the postie has had no problems entering for the past 20+ years to my knowledge, as it's a company address without a letterbox :x !! Turns out they don't even take unpaid stuff out on the round :shameonu: . Anyway rant over, sorry!!

You may not have to prove who you are is my rather waffly point  !! Good luck on the collection if you do though  !
