Woke to light snow a relatively warm temp of -2. The snow soon stopped and the temp was up to -0.5 when I left the house. teh sky looks heavy and it's trying to snow again without much luck.

Got back from Brussels this morning to find out that Milan airport was closed due to snow. Flight cancelled so was sent home

 

Still minus 1 here, the odd flake of snow, but not enough for my liking

I just love it too, and am watching anxiously as it is coming and going at the moment. At least my office is warm and snug now that I've got a blow heater too.

I still have a bit of snow in the garden from Monday. YS was very upset that school did not let them go out to play on Monday - spoil sports. He will be praying it snows again

 

Its very cold but no sign of any more snow today.

There is too much of a mind on health and safety these days We are lucky that we have a fun loving and very child savvy head at my YD's school who knew that the children wouldn't settle on Monday until they had got some snow play under their belts

 

It is positively tropical here today +2.5 degrees, I even managed to get the Eglu tray cleaned, yesterday it was frozen solid with a softie egg welded to it We still have some frozen snow lying about though.

Last night we had a covering of frost and -8 when we went to bed. At 7.30 this morning it was -10 luckily no frozen pipes as our insulation is so poor

The heating boiler (oil!) has been on constantly trying to heat the house and annex, but can only manage to get it to 16 degrees. Just lit the woodburner as MiL coming out of hospital today following eye op yesterday. It will seem very cold to her having been in a stuffy hot hospital.

+2.9 deg here when I went home at lunchtime It has given up trying to snow here now and the stuff on the ground is melting.

It was sleeting as we went in, & starting to freeze when we came out. My front patio is like an ice rink

Todays weather in Preesall near Blackpool has been mild, temperatures above freezing and light rain all day.

Dark at 8 30 am and dark at 4 30 pm this evening.

really cold here, eveything frozen over (even the pond) and chook glugs, it hasnt been above freezing all day. No rain, cold and grey.

Snow overnight but getting warmer through the day and a lot of it had gone by this evening

 

 

 

2 degrees forecast tonight which is the first time we have been warmer than freezing since Christmas.

My poor dad went over yesterday ..he slipped on the ice near the garage & cut his head, his lip & grazed under his eye. Poor love - we are now calling him Dean - as in dancing on ice.

 

It's bitter cold, but I've got the fire lit, so all toasty warm.

We had some fine snow for about 20 minutes late this afternoon, turned everything really slippery again. It has gone now and the temperature is 2.6 degrees at the moment so hopefully it won't freeze tonight.
