Full of self pity, sad and I just can't manage

Recommended Posts

I hope that today is looking a little brighter Mrs B. ((((((HUGS)))))))

You must find time to snuggle up with OH and have a heart to heart. Give the children beans on toast which is a perfectly good meal then leave them to wash the dishes, they ARE old enough and will enjoy it too. Then take yourselves either to the sofa or upstairs. I am not talking grown up stuff just a good old fashioned cuddle and chat it makes all the difference.

You must take time for yourself and to rest when you are not at work, you are not wonder woman and as someone else said if you are not happy and well then neither will your family be, it is NOT selfish.

It is better for you to slacken off a bit than to go into complete meltdown when it all becomes too much which it will if you don't take care of YOU. Lecture over

I can't do much more than that at the moment as I'm feeling pretty similar and have no useful advice.

And why oh why have child benefit changed when they pay us the money. Now each month we're chasing our tails and getting fines from the bank

Just caught up with this thread as been suffering similar thing with both sons ill at both ends :vom: and hoping desperatly that my daughter is not going to get it too  , So you rant on Mrs B we all need to let off steam now and again , I wish i could stand in my garden and screm loudly sometimes ( but neighbours would call the men in white coats ) , Having a family and money problems is tough as is trying to cope with it all on your own if you havn't already talk to your oh and tell him how TIRED you are .

hope you are feeling a bit better today BIG HUGS from me xxxxx

I agree with everybodies comments. I sometimes just have to chuck the towel in and let things ride out. I have found writing a journal has helped. Not so much at the time but later looking back you can see how bad times eventually worked out and things did get better again. It gives you a feeling of hope in the dark days. big hugs x

Oh Mrs B, you poor thing. (I did want to write on this thread last night but as we apparently cant be trusted at work  , we're only allowed to read and not 'input'.)

I cant add any pearls of wisdom that havent been already said but we are all here for a good cry and a wail when needed. Get your OH off his dirtbox to help you, I keep telling my Mum that shes not Superwoman, so she doesnt have to keep acting like it and neither do you.

Big cuddles and a box of virtual Thorntons chocs for you.

Kimmy

Oh Mrs B - your post upset me a bit! I don't like anyone struggling & worrying. So sending big hugs your way.

I have to admit that me & hubby are quite good at making money from teeny weeny ideas - he calls them little scams (nothing bad), I call them flippin' clever ideas! Ebay, car boots, table top sales etc.

Mrs B, just a thought & you may not like it, but have you thought of maybe downsizing your house & buying somewhere smaller & cheaper, maybe in a cheaper area? Not sure if this is possible with having children. It was just a thought to try & help you.

Party stuff - buy from Aldi & Iceland!

Hope you feel better soon.
