Cinnamon
We have recently started giving our eldest daughter a small clothing allowence each month,so she can learn to be responsible for buying her own clothes & budgeting. She hasn't really bought anything yet, but Parcelforce have just turned up with a parcel for her containing a pair of blue sequin Converses which were £50 At least she saved up for them,I suppose. It would seem that I have been a bad influence on my daughter Just hope she doesn't need anything more practical for a while!
Guest
A BARGAIN! methinks. They are fabulous, she saved up, she bought online - she's a shopper in the making!
Omletina Kyckling
That is wonderful....my mum always says that I was sent as punishment for her - she was well known for being rather talkative and full of life and wore all her family down, and they think it's hilarious that she got a mini-me (anybody who has met me will know that I'm not the silent, retiring type).....her boots look fab....your message really made me smile this morning

Phonix
they're soooo kewl!! She's being really sensible - saving up and getting what she really wants rather than just wasting her money on anything! xXx
Egluntyne
She has been well taught! They look smashing.
craftyhunnypie
Oooo I like those! I love sparkly things, so I think I'll be saving for a pair of those too. I think it's great that she saved up & got what she really wanted, instead of making do with ' cheap shoes'. Good on her! Emma.x
Cinnamon
Happily we are the same shoe size, so I think I may be borrowing them once or twice She is going to debut them at her college introductions day on Friday,so long as its not raining, worn with her Boden antiqued blue velvet blazer she got for Christmas last year
Seagazer
Wow they are lovely My daughter (21) thinks she shopped badly last week as she only bought two pairs of shoes She loves converse shoes and has them in various colours and styles. I'll have to show her the photo of the sparkly ones!
The Dogmother
Those are gorgeous Sarah, the girl has good taste. I have some 'shabby chic' silver sneakers, sadly my mini-me takes the same size shoes as me and wears them more than I do!

chickencam
Very cool My ED would love them, she thought that she had splashed out when she bought a pair with dice on them from New Look a whole £10, she's a bit of a cheap skate like me Unfortunately my daughter takes size 7 shoes and I only take 4.5 I was looking forward to having a teenage daughter to share with, we can manage some clothes but not shoes

ubereglu
They look ace! Mind you, I'd prefer a new pair of proper leather boots to them-will definitely be going around the sales after Christmas. I'm more of a sale shopper I have to admit and here's a list of some of the bargains I own: A gorgeous Joules kimono-y type top which was £11.30 reduced from £35 A lovely dress from Oasis for £5 reduced from £48 A pair of Roxy Cords from a closing down sale for £5 reduced from £55 A pair of black jeans from Topshop for £10 reduced from £40 I love sales!!! I really hope that a gorgeous coat I saw in Monsoon goes down to 70% in January as it's gorgeous but costs £80...

chelsea
Can anyone tell me if Converse sneakers are suitable for wider feet? I have cornish pasty feet and would really like a sequin pair (especially in red ) I wouldnt get the ankle style boots though and would go for the normal lace up short sneaker.
