My excuse is that it is my Birthday just after Christmas and Lauren's and daughter's in early January.....I wouldn't want them to get stuck in the post

docsquid
I am weakening regarding this, even though I don't wear jewellery very much. I like Trollbeads, but I do think they are very expensive for what they are. I have also been looking at Biagi, and wondered if anybody has one of these? I prefer the collection of beads to almost anything else available, as I like quite intricate silver beads, and also one or two dangly charms, as well as very plain coloured glass beads, and they do a good range. There is a catalogue Here. They do a silver chicken charm The down side of this is "Ooops, word censored!"ody ever buys me a present apart from DH, so I'd have to buy my own charms mostly. It would be nice if he could buy me a special charm for anniversary or valentine's or birthday or whatever - that would make it quite special. Anyway, if you have any views on the Biagi stuff, please let me know. I should say I have a base metal allergy, so stuff has to be silver, gold, stainless steel or plastic/glass. Lesley
I think they are lovely! I have fake Trollbead bracelet and I buy most of my beads from an Ebay shop - I'm quite happy with a set of 5 beads for £3 and an occasional expensive bead as a present. docsquid
Well, I think I'll probably go with a Biagi bracelet and then I can fit lots of other makes of beads and charms to it as it is compatible with Trollbeads and Pandora. The other one I'm considering is Pia Beads, but I'm not sure how compatible their system is with others. Anyone got a Biagi bracelet or Pia bracelet? Cooks
no, I have seen them on ebay when looking for trollbeads (as you do) but I keep mine authentic trollbead just because it would annoy me if it wasn't all the same.

freddie
I am going to Barnstaple tomorrow, and they're in the shop there.......... they are stunning in the *real", so tactile. I shall try not to go in, ..... I have DD with me , and she needs school shoes, which as all parents know, shoe shopping with teens is just such fun: I may need a pick me up, in the shape of a pebble after that!! Groovychook
A trollbead stockist has opened up in my tiny little town!!! Daren't go in... have peeped in the window but I'll have to be firm with myself! Mine are mainly authentic trollbead's but with a few others that have been bought for me as presents. They're just as nice- my favourite being a lovely silver and opal bead!
docsquid
Well, I have gone with Biagi as the bracelets are very nice, and they do a 17.25cm size, which gives me a bit more room than 17cm. That is my wrist size plus 2.25cm. I really like their collection of charms. Plus I can put any make of charm I like on there including Pandora and Trollbeads if I prefer them. I have ordered a bracelet plus a number of charms (Biagi, Charmlinks and Truth) that have meaning for me, and some glass beads as separators. There is obviously a chicken in there, and a cat I'm excited that I can add charms that have meaning for my life at any time. I will definitely post photos when they arrive! docsquid
Pic as promised. I'm very pleased with the bracelet and charms. The charms all mean something to me. The glass beads are by way of decoration and to act as spacers - eventually they will all be replaced with something meaningful. I have a chicken, a cat, a sheep (for being Welsh!), a skull and crossbones (for being a bones i.e. a doctor), three gold hearts on a ring for the three special people in my life (Mum, Dad and DH), and a spider and web for all my internet friends. I'm really excited that people can get me charms as presents, or I can find ones that are meaningful to me. So thank you again Omlet for introducing me to another great hobby!
