Well done kev. Thats a lot of dosh saved. My oh gave up 12 months ago. I have to say I dont feel any richer for it. I guess it been spent without noticing. He was on about 15 a day before he quit.

After we stopped smoking Mum put away her smoking money

 

She decided after a couple of years that she wanted to buy a grandfather clock, she grew up with one and it has ppassed down another line of the family and she has always missed it. Her idea was to buy a new one and then we would have an heirloom which started from her. She was looking at about 2k

 

Of course she came home from the shop having brought a limited edition one she had only seen in the catalogue as the only one in a store was in Harrods! Then her one turned out to be the last one made, she has a certificate saying that..... Cost a bit more than the original 2k BUT still paid for out of the smoking money!
