And here are our new girls, as yet to be :D named

I have got it all set up, with food and nesting material. I have also spent time catching the girls, popping them into the Cube via the back and letting them find their way out via the ladder.

The neighbours are going to think I am nuts :lol:

Well, hubby is *supposed* to be in charge of naming them, I've been nagging him all week to come up with some, but he is worse than when we tried to find names we liked for our children and we had nine months to do those

I quite like the idea of 'Ocean' and/or Valentine I will put these to him later and see what he says.

All 4 of the girls in the cube made it up the ladder into the roosting area on their own. But, when I checked on them just now, three were in the nest area and one was perched in the door area to it :lol:

Hubby has spent about 40 minutes just sat in the viewing gallery (sofa by patio doors, ) watching them all before the light went. Teehee, I think he's hooked

I'm glad it's arrived safe and sound.

How are the two new girls?

The two new girls are still looking like they have landed on Mars  But, I'm sure they will get used to it. They look very young, extremely small, pale combs and almost non exisitant wattles. However, they finally have names! :D

Hubby has called one 'Clover' she has a pale patch of feathers at the base of her body, just where her tail feathers start, and her tail feathers are fluffier than her friends. Her friend was named 'Lola' by ED. She said we had to call her Lola as our cat is called Charlie

I've been watching the girls going up and down the cube ladder, and there has been some activity in the nest area but so far today only 2 eggs  I hope the cubes assembly, the new girls and all the Eglu and Cube moving today hasn't unsettled their laying :?

I'm really pleased with the work I have done today. The ground was slightly uneven around the cube run so I've filled the dips in. I have also placed the patio slabs around the edge to make a walkway and help keep in the Aubiose until we can put a proper edge round it. I've raked up the old Aubiose and poo and thats now in the composter and I've stablezoned the entire area. It looks much better. I am now physically aching though and exhausted as my 7 month has been teething. Still it is satisfying to look out and see it all looking so much better. :D
