Tiggy
the wife of one of the GPs I work with does this, so we will be going to one soon, it sounds good. OH loves to cook and has realised that the dishwasher ruins all his bakewear so needs new stuff - looks like I shall be getting lots of trays for the green house
craftyhunnypie
I love Pamepered chef. Yes the parties are fab & I too thought about doing the parties - but after doing various other party plan things I decided not to. At the end of the day, you end up feeding your managers bank account through all your hard work (pyramid selling). I do love my batter bowl & measuring jug, plus my mini tart tin & dobber. I also can't recommend their stoneware enough. I don't know what we would do with our square dish, as whatever we make in it - comes out divine! Egluntyne
I love Pampered Chef stuff too. It is expensive....but lasts and lasts. The Stoneware is fantastic. Like Emma, I can't sing its praises loudly enough.
Blackrocksrock
I have been to two and love them too - I particularly love the small lidded bowls - they come in packs of 6 - they are glass with plastic lids and go into the freezer with all the small left overs and lemon juice, gravy, half a lemon in the fridge and small portions of curry, mince to freeze - I have two lots now and the large batter bowl which is glass with a lid the same as the pots. Pricy but very worth adding to over time.
Egluntyne
You can pick up some real bargains on Ebay. I got my Stoneware deep muffin pan and my large batter bowl there.
Ain't Nobody Here
I've only been to one Pampered Chef party and was impressed by their stuff. The only thing I actually bought though was a long handled rubber spatula thingy which is fantastic for s"Ooops, word censored!"ing bowls and for getting the remnants out of jars and tins . Shirl
I haven't been to a party but ordered a stone pizza base and it is good. It keeps the pizza warm for ages so you can help yourself at a leisurely pace.
fluffyknickers
Yes I have been to a few! I have quite a few bits actually most because they were xmas and bday pressies I asked for. I have a couple of bits of stoneware and they are great - just be very careful as two cracked on me. I have the chopper which I use A LOT S"Ooops, word censored!"er A measuring thing that is supposed to be able to measure flour in oz for example but when I tested it by then using my scales it wasnt right - however better for liquids and amercian recipes calling for 'cups' Piping things for icing Other bits I cant remember! They are good as well because you get to eat at them!!! x
Blackrocksrock
They are available online to buy now too and the bowls I bought were prep bowls.
Plum
Shame you can't be a host. Perhaps you can hold one and have some online guests
Phonix
Well I thought of saying that you all could order from the party I was at (cos you can order online and just have to enter the host's name) but the stuff would get delivered to her house!!! xXx
