Can I ask......is Plum island the island in the film "Silence of the Lambs" where Clarice was going to send Dr Leckter?? (I might be wrong ) Oh, and I would like to book my vacation by the sea in the fall please.....thinking late October... nice and quiet then... Best regards Ian & Valerie Plum Island is just 10 miles east of where I'm currently living, so the weather will be very similar to what we have experienced this past winter, luckily the weather here has warmed up a bit and most of the snow has all but vanished but I would be happy to keep you all updated on the weather across the pond.
