Angels4
I just got off the phone with the town council and have been informed that I am able to keep chickens............. "What do you mean Mark you already have chickens" you ask. I do have chickens and I live at my sisters, but was just informed today, that the beach cabin on Plum Island www.plumislandma.org that I applied for is mine (check out the website) I'm moving to the beach
Snowy
So you got it!! Well done! I saw your other post, it looks lovely - I am not the slightest bit green with envy! It sounds a lovely place - I read a novel by Nelson de Mille set on Plum Island so I feel I know a little bit about it! Wonderful news - so pleased for you! Angels4
Thanks everybody.........I move in April 1st and am really looking forward to the beach lifestyle. This is absolutley the best time to be moving to the island. I'm really suprised the rental is so inexpensive and it's an all year rental, the island has a reputation for being extremly expensive ($1200.00 a week) for a summer rental. Angels4
so tell us, when you viewed the house did you first look inside or in the garden to see where the chickens could go??? TBH as soon as I saw that I had a private garden, I located the perfect spot for the cube, the peered through the windows to check out my living quarters. Unfortunatly I will have to sell my original Eglu, as there isn't enough room for both the cube and Eglu, and I won't be able to get any new girls this year, but my original girls wil LOVE all the extra space and lets face it after the winter they have had they deserve it.
