That is the plan. At least the family will , but I don't eat meat.

 

If they are boys, they will have a decent life before they go. I will make sure of that.

 

Doing the course is part and parcel of it.

No more have hatched. The twosome are fine thanks. The Little Speckled Sussex has twisty toes so is wearing a pair of tiny home made slippers. Massive aaaaawwww factor there.

 

YS brought a crowd of 6ft lads home last night to see them. After midnight. :?

 

All declared they would never eat chicken again.

Sorry no more hatched but at least you know that the incubator works and can try again and having two hatch is better than a lone chick

Yes. I've given up on them and disposed of them.

 

I cracked them open and there were embryos in them, but they weren't meant to be.

 

Shame, but one has to be pragmatic.

Can't believe it, I get sent away for work for a few days and when I come back they are hatched . Sorry to hear about the 3rd chick, and the eggs that didn't hatch, but the two you have are just sooooooooooooo cute.

 

Well done , I am very , and I'm looking forward to seeing them grow up via pictures on here .

One week on and all of a sudden they are sprouting proper wing feathers, the Speckled Sussex more so than the Light Sussex.
