Cooks
Well I used to make them as a teenager, so thought I would give it another whirl an this is my first attempt. They are lampwork beads which are all unique and gorrrrrrrgeous! (I made the chain bracelet from scratch as well) The smaller beads are Czech glass. I would be pleased to know what you think of my very first attempt back at this. If I make enough I might have a tiny stall at my village's 'Feast' this year (if you all think they are good enough? *blush* heres another in deep red and clear I have done Edited April 20, 2009 by Guest

Cooks
I keep thinking of adding more then I look at it and think it's lovely as a simple beaded bracelet.... but who knows..lolol
Ain't Nobody Here
I think it's lovely . Really pretty colours and you're right, lovely as it is (but you could make another one with much more on it!) I think it's certainly good enough for a stall - I'm sure they'd fly off the shelves! Cooks
yes I will make others I was short on purple beads (although have more coming) so it could end up with more, LOL the more I add the more expensive they are though..lol I was thinking of asking £5.00 at the feast for a bracelet like this one, that should be ok wouldn't it? more beads higher price. craftyhunnypie
Hi yes £5 sounds absolutely spot on. I wouldn't go much over £10 on any designs you make - as people tend to buy more of a lower priced item. They may buy 3 at £5, tallying up to £15, but they will think they have a lot for their money. Does that make sense? Instead of beads, you could bulk up the braclets with buttons & cheap charms. Look out for pieces of broken jewellery in your stash & also strings of beads in charity shops. I'm loving the bracelet made so far. Emma.x
Cooks
Thanks for the tips Emma I have thought about looking out for beads/buttons etc and have my mum scouring carboot sales also she's a love! The lampwork beeds do bump up the price so, if someone wanted a bracelet covered with those it would be a lot more than the £5 but I am aiming to try and price them very reasonable so they sell well, and people are happy with their purchase If it's anything like last year the sun will be beating down!!!
