Any spouses of our esteemed Members Of Parliament on this forum I wonder? I remember reading of one of the Whitehall Brigade that kept chickens a while back.

 

I just wonder what they think of the latest scandal and ongoing news about their expenses? Would they like to comment anonymously on what THEY really think?

Esther Rantzen says she is going to stand !

 

Television presenter Esther Rantzen says she is "sick" of the MPs' expenses scandal and may stand for Parliament.

 

Her plan is to stand against the Labour MP Margaret Moran who claimed £22,500 treating dry rot at her second home - 100 miles from her constituency.

I think Joanna Lumley would make a brilliant MP, not so sure about Ms Rantzen. Glenda Jackson was a Labour MP for a while.

stop it you guys, we are supposed to be respectful of our great leaders oh dear just as well we live here and not in some other country.
