Cooks
1 is enough for me I am still wondering how I came out the shop with a tattoo when I only went in for a picture to be drawn.

redfrock
I love it CM! It is beautiful. And Sarah - just go for it! I had my tattoo done 12 years ago when I was 21. I still don't regret it. It is on my tummy so that when I am older and wrinkly (or fat and old i.e now!) it won't be on show. At the time it wasn't very fashionable for women to have tattoos like it is now. One of my friends refused to talk to me! Needless to say no longer a friend. I was told by the tattooist to put Preparation H on it as it heals it quickly, and it did. No scabs, no swelling and healed within 48 hours. They are addictive and to this day I want another one Edited June 8, 2009 by Guest

Chickvic
I love it, it's really pretty. *sigh* I'd get one right now if my nephew wasn't busy I used Prep H on my first couple of tattoos. I had my first at 19 (16 years ago!) and no - they weren't popular then. The cream my latest tattooist gave me (before nephew) had aloe vera in it and it was so good at healing - better than anything else I've used! Mr Redwing says its very pretty and he approves A lad from work got one a few weeks back when he was drunk, they asked him if he had been drinking and he said no! it was in Latin, luckily he could remember how to spell the phrase he wanted (I have to say that I really like it too!) Cooks
it says on my sheet to apply the cream from the second day onwards, is that what you lot did?
fluffyknickers
Its gorgeous. They are addictive - I have three and I dont even like tattoos! One on my foot, one on the inside of my wrist and one on the top of my thigh (on the side). I said that was IT and now I am thinking hmmm where else can I get one..... Will take some piccies and put on here. x
Chickvic
it says on my sheet to apply the cream from the second day onwards, is that what you lot did? The great tattooist (just 5 mins from where I live ) covers it in vaseline and wraps it in clingfilm, says leave it for 1.5 - 2 hours. Remove cover and wash in warm soapy water, rinse thouroughly and pat dry. Repeat 2-3 times daily. After washing use cream (recommend E45 or Verajas). Keep tattoo out of direct sunlight, this can cause keloid scarring. Do not keep tattoo submerged in water. Do not go swimming until tattoo is healed. Do not pick or scratch. Your tattoo should heal within 7-14 days. I've just quoted that off their business card. Never hads any problems with any of my tattoos! Cooks
it's very similar well bascially the same except the creams then I think, as that is basically what I have to so with mine.
fluffyknickers
yes!, really sore actually but I was dead brave! you will know then vicki, I was like this is not so bad, then it built up... This was my most painful too - hurt the worse out my three. Plus as they can fade easily on your foot I had to have it re-touched up (for free) months later and I forgot how bad the pain was. Lets say I used a few choice words.
abwsco
It looks great Lynsey Wonder if you'll get more. DD now has three even though she's still not old enough Her latest one is stars which are very similar to the ones you've posted Sarah and they look really nice. I always said I'd get one when I was 40 (now 46) but still haven't as I just can't make my mind up 100% on what to have done.
Plum
Own up who is the first to have a chicken tattoo? I think your feet ones are really pretty. I've only had henna tattoos they make me feel my ugly clumsy wrists are really elegant.
