Joojoo
Well done Cookie. It looks lovely . Once the redness has gone down, which won't take too long the colours will really come out I'm so tempted to have another one for my 40th I quite fancied having forever young somewhere in latin. Will have to have a long hard think. They are very addictive though. I've got quite a few friends that keep having to go back for more and more of them. I've only got one which I had done when I split up with my ex OH but I've been pining for another one ever since.
hillfamily
Well Done Cookie......it looks fab :D You were very brave having your first tattoo on your foot.....one of the most painful places so I've been told. I'm off to get my first tattoo tomorrow......popped along last week to chat to the tattooist about the design, cost and how long it would take :D
chelsea
Looks great Cookie, on a scale of 1-10 how bad was the pain? Am thinking of getting one next year.....
BeckyBoo
I'm off to get my first tattoo tomorrow......popped along last week to chat to the tattooist about the design, cost and how long it would take :D Oooooh, whatcha getting? CM, yours is lovely, don't think I could manage a foot, Plum how can your wrists be "ugly" and Sarah, go for it, that's a really pretty tattoo. I've got two, both ages old and like the others from when tatts weren't fashionable. I've been trying to get another one since last July - was getting it for my 40th. First didn't have time, then money, then money AND time. I've designed it, been in to see the guy a few times but there's always been a hiccup. I WILL get it done though! (although I've s"Ooops, word censored!"ped the bit of the design that was going across the back of my neck - too painful even thinking about it! ) BeckyBoo

BeckyBoo I'm getting a Kermit the Frog tattoo (on my lower back, to one side). It has a hidden meaning to me (that I won't go into) and will be life long reminder of a happy time that I never want to forget :D I'm also going to get a butterfly tattoo on my 40th birthday later this year and wouldn't mind some chinese calligraphy on the inside of my wrist.....but that's one to ponder on
The Dogmother
They're all lovely I like those stars Sarah, but I've heard that 'boney bits' are sore to get done. I've seen Redfrock's and it's very pretty Can't wait to see yours Pamster.

Plus the one that has my kids names on is actually quite small but i am zoomed in to cut out the rest of my thighs (so as not to put you off lunch). oh and the stars on my wrist one you can also see my pandora bracelet! Hurt Scores! Top side of thigh - 6 out of ten Foot - 8/10 Wrist - 4/

Cooks
Looks great Cookie, on a scale of 1-10 how bad was the pain? Am thinking of getting one next year..... I would say about a 6/7 but it didn't start out like that, at first I thoutht, oooh this isn't too bad, then the pain built up a bit, but I wasn't crying, I was talking to him as normal but winceing when he wasn't looking Edited June 9, 2009 by Guest

craftyhunnypie
Cookie - that tattoo is gorgeous, my kind of thing! I've got Piglet on my ankle - that hurt a lot. I also have a falling fairy on my shoulder with orange fiery hair. I'd like more! I'd like an orchid at the base of my right thumb, some Thai writing on my wrist, maybe 'craftyhunnypie' somewhere, a chicken & a row of jungle book elephants across the bottom of my back. Now I've seen those foot tattoos - I think I could also dream up a pretty design. I also have my ears pierced twice (want a few more). I have my nose done & I used to have my belly button done, but it went odd & grew out! Still got a scar that could do with a tatoo over it. Cooks
aww thanks I like it and I know it's unique to me as it was drawn on so that makes it more special although I am having him fill in the 'highlight' on the big heart as I would prefer it solid, but he cannot do that now for a good few weeks until it's healed over and then he will touch it up for me. so big deal but I think it'd look better solid.
