My keys .... where ARE they?!

Recommended Posts

Sleep on it, and in the morning you'll think of where to look.

Last time I lost my car keys (after weekend staying at eldest brother's, everyone packed and ready to leave and I was blocking the drive  ) they turned up in my washbag. I still don't know why!

Found DS's key in the front door when we came back today - outside. Have you tried looking in the door, nestbox, bottom of your bag, secret zipper, shoes, chicken food (our garage door key fell into the chick crumbs - what a nightmare it was trying to find them - they went down quite a way). Sometimes things get knocked into the recycling bin. In your umbrella. In the car (or your mum/dad's car - any car). By your bed, under your bed, in the cupboard under the stairs, in the kitchen cupboards with the goodies. Um, you can tell I always lose things.

Hope they all turn up in the morning.

My brother realised he had lost his keys and wallet last night so was hunting everywhere. It didn't help that he couldn't remember when he last had them. He looked everywhere and eventually found them in his tennis racket case from when he played early on last week.

I lost 2 phones in my handbag. There was a hole in the lining which was very difficult to see and they'd slipped down there- plus lipstick, pens money etc... I found them all eventually when the second phone disappeared and I KNEW I'd put it in my bag. So I pulled it apart as the alternative was I'd really lost it... Explained why my " empty" bag was always heavy......

I've also found mine in my laundry basket
