moochoo
Some of you know that I was collecting 6 chicken that needed re-homing today. Well, it has worked out that I've come home with 3 of them and I delivered the other 3 to Vikchick. So here they are. I've named them Hilda, Mavis and Freda. They're bumper bitted at the moment as my old girls are re-feathering and I'd hate to jepodise that whilst they're free ranging together. I'm sure they're going to settle in wonderfully. Many thanks to Snowy Howells for facilitating the re-homing.

moochoo
Well you know how you make a plan? Well these girls have jumped about 10 pages in mine. I was planning to keep them in separate housing and runs and then free ranging them together for a few week. Well the new girls have decided they'd rather move straight into the cube with my old girls. They took themselves to bed together last night, have laid in the nest box this morning and are mooching around the walk in run. It's like they've always been here. I'm amazed. My old girls have just accepted them. There's been very few shows of aggression, the odd peck on the head but that's it. I know it's still very early days but I'm really pleased with them.
