Recommended Posts

I am always coming out with some gem or other I have learnt off forum. Have made 2 cakes off recipe site. Revived a bee with honey and OH and I watched spellbound as it came back to life :D . Citronella oil all the window to try and keep out flies and well the list is endless. I hope I've also contributed too esp to the medical bits. Its a great site

Practically all I now know about chook husbandry, how to grow sweet potatoes and what not to cook with courgettes, how truly disgusting but effective a Flitrap is how, beautiful the babies on this forum are.

AND what not to say after a few words from the mods :oops::oops:

As you say endless......................

A truly wonderful place :D

I know how to grow leeks, what to do with ants in my compost, how many eggs to put under a broody, that garlic stops poo smelling, what happens during a moult, how to introduce new hens, . . . and many many more things.

I also feel very supported as OH often does not understand where I'm coming from, especially relating to chooks!

thank you all! :D

So much valuable information on here - it couldn't be put in a book small enough to carry, and even met up with other omleteers. I have also found who are the loonies - and having such fun with them. :D

Are you perhaps referring to the 'other thread'?:lol: Well at least we're all in one place! I think this forum is great! So much help on anything and everything!

I can agree with that! Apart from meeting up with you all! I'd love to though, must see if my mum will let me go to the Manchester Christmas Markets this year

Koojie Bear was a little (or rather someone dressed up) in a koala bear outfit on Rolf Harris shows. My brother is 8 years younger than me and instead of calling me Kerry, he kept calling me Koo - then it became Koojie Bear after that. I'm still called Koojie by mum.mini-koala.gif

Of course I am not a looney myself, I just play with them!

I gather the original was "Coojee" bear.

Yes I agree lots of knowledge gained - this forum also costs me a fortune - fryers, bags etcetc!

I hate my name on here and was too stupid to realise when registering it would be what is going to show all the time on the forums.

I want to change it actually - just hope it wont confuse people!
