Pouring with rain as well but every now and again there is a flurry of snow The mountains across the Moray Firth had a dusting this morning I'd better look out the wellies and sledge

chelsea
just heard on the news there was 6 inches of snow in the highlands. We've just come back from there....wish I was there now
Cate in NZ
Snow already.... gulp. That said I'm in the dull and miserable South East, we rarely get snow...... just rain, fog and grey, grey days....... oh, and quite a bit more rain I don't think that we got any snow at all last winter
Lesley
Just lots and lots of rain here - and I had to stand in a field for an hour getting very wet and cold watching Jazz learn her recall I don't think I'll ever get warm.

Egluntyne
Crikey!! Its bloomin' cold here too. What a difference a day makes!! Yesterday in Sheffield it was 12 degrees and at lunchtime there were diners sitting outside cafes at lunchtime!!!

The Dogmother
I'm only 20 minutes from Lesley, so same weather here too. Just poked my head out of the door and it's freezing, which is a bit worrying after all that rain! We had a monsoon this morning and I had to take Rosie to school in the car as the roads were flooded. No storms here unfortunately, although I understand they had them on the south coast this morning.
Paola
Blimey snow It was very wet yesterday Thankfully today it is sunny
The Dogmother
It was beautiful here this morning Brilliant blue skies, sparkly sunshine and stunning colours on the trees - one of those mornings when you're glad to be alive
ouzel
We have snow too!! It was almost at our level yesterday, we missed out by about 200 foot but all of the hills are covered in the white stuff. We considered climbing the Ben today but our five year old was moaning about the cold so i'm not sure he'd have been as keen. I got some great pictures while out with our dog, it's been a beautiful day I love snow
Charlottechicken
It has been cold enough here for snow, no warmer than 3 degrees all day, with a beautiful clear blue sky. I think we are in for a very cold night!
Martin B
It's been very cold here, would be nice to wake up to snow one day this week. Especially a school day! NO SCHOOL!

red
It's a clear and cold night here in Devon too but no snow as yet. Tonight there is supposed to be a meteor shower that will be very visible if the skies are clear - provided you can wait up til about 3am when its supposed to be at its best
Charlottechicken
The Leonids, they appear to come from the constellation of Leo, so look east! It is supposed to be a good show this year.
AnnieP
I'm up.... but nothing yet. I love them! Get up every year without fail, don my hat, gloves scarf and warmest coat and go and sit in the garden... Actually, its a bit clouded over now 04:45 is the best time now predicted, so I might just go back to bed for a couple more hours. The Perseids are often more condusive to watch, being in August rather than November.... its a little warmer, but often the skies aren't so clear!
