craftyhunnypie
It can't be any worse than me & my sister in law singing ' total eclipse of the heart'. Rather tipsy (legless) & stood on caravan water containers, with bottles of water for microphones! What were you singing? Emma.x
Omletina Kyckling
OK folks, so far I just have A chickychickychick-ENN!! and Couperwife as confirmed overnighters and Snowy as a day visitor so if anybody else wants to come, please let me know.....sadly this will be last ever Omletstock at this address because me and my hubby are splitting up, which is very sad and I'm in a bit of a state at the moment, but it means I have to move on and will be moving back north to Huddersfield, and whatever house I end up in, it's going to be ickle!!! Snowy
Well I was very lucky that OH offered to drive me there and back, so I was able to accompany everyone and indulge in a little wine. Just got home after a wonderful afternoon and evening. Lovely to catch up up with everyone again, did some felting and made some earrings and made a wonderful pom pom for my 'special' hat I'm just sorry I had to leave so early. I left Omletina and Couperwife singing along to Meatloaf and AChickychickychickENN looking bemused in a MinnieMouse hat. Great fun ladies, hope to do it again some time very soon xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Blackrocksrock
ahem = are there any photos then? Sounds like a good day was had and a good night by the sounds of it
Omletina Kyckling
We've had lots of fun today and I only burst into tears once, which was pretty good going and got lots of hugs! We went to the Doc Marten factory shop which is only about 20 minutes away - here are some photos of Couperwife and A chick chick chickkeen trying on various Docs! and here is a photo of 12 pairs of Doc shoes and boots which the 3 of us bought..... Here's Achick chick chickken in the Slanket (snuggle blanket?) which she made and here's Couperwife wearing the Minnie Mouse pom pomhat which Chicky modified with pom poms and here's Ludwig, the very tolerant cat wearing the same hat (we had drunk two bottles of bubbly and made a good start on a box of white wine by this time!!) and here's Snowy wearing her very fetching hat complete with pom poms.... Some quite advanced felting was done and I'll try to post some photos tomorrow....

Mrs Frugal
I didn't know there was a Doc Marten factory shop nearby! I've only just bought some boots over the internet. Must find the factory shop . Looks like you've had a fun time .
Snowy
Looks as though you had a great time. Any chance of the pattern for Snowy's hat? Now you're asking something! It was a make it up as you go pattern But I'll have a go at writing it down. It would probably look better in more subtle colours and with a smaller pompom on top. However since I showed it to the boys this morning they have been taking turns wearing it all day (I just need to recover a little more from my hangover )

Snowy
More shopping!! You were lucky to get away with the DMs - I hope your OH has also been shopping again Chicky! Phew - glad you think I'm a lightweight - I was just wondering if I'd made a total fool of myself but hopefully you all won't remember if you carried on after I left Head is now feeling better - the dogs had a shortened walk but the icy wind sure cleared the cobwebs away I went out in my special hat - everyone I passed today was smiling - I can't think why I've just been admiring the earrings and felty bits I made. Just off to check how much is in my paypal account and browse for jewellery making kits; pompom makers and wool tops
