mostin
Well, it's a very sad day . Yesterday morning May was looking perky and sprightly and escaping over the barrier in the kitchen to nick catfood. As the day went on she stopped eating and drinking and became more listless . This morning she looked in bad shape, her comb had a purple tinge, and she still wasn't drinking or eating, she had given up the fight. For the first time since she became ill, she looked as if she was really uncomfortable and suffering, not just a bit ill, so we have called it a day . I now have to spend the day at work with very red eyes and hoping "Ooops, word censored!"ody will be insensitive, so far so good. She only had 4 months with us, but I really hope she enjoyed herself. She certainly made an impression on us, and in our hearts. She will be sorely missed. I will find a nice photo to put on here when I get home tonight. Sleep well my little May.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

mostin
Thanks for the extra hugs, it helps to hear she looked happy. I do think she had a lovely retirement, but that's why its so bittersweet, as I wanted it to be longer . She certainly made everyday count though, and put 110% into every dust bath .
