Yesterday looked a bit iffy until the afternoon and then we had sun. Very irritating because I was in Basingstoke and I should have cleaned out the girls. Reading today, but it stayed dry until we were on our way home and even then it was only a little spit. But my goodness is it dark - dark first thing (good - stops the girls whingeing to be let out) and dark for the rest of the day. Hoping for some good weather so I can do the cube.

And our swing chair has blown over today - funny I didn't think it was as bad today.

Very windy again and we've just had a hailstorm

Sky is black. Sunny intervals forecast but 50 - 80 mm rain in between

Windy during the night, it also rained again. This morning dry and bright - next doors poxy lime tree has shed branches and twigs all over the drive and lawn again.

Well, after howling gales and rain last night, it's clear and sunny this morning, but the temp is down - 12deg last night and just 7deg this morning.

It was very wet and windy here last night. I was running around with towels at 1:45 as the rain was coming through our letterbox and through some of the window joins

Wild and windy with rain overnight. Still windy and we've had a couple of heavy showers but the sun is out here now. For how long though, who knows.

We had a heavy hailstorm at 7.40am, just as ED was heading out for school. We had to wrap her design folder in a bin liner. She was not very happy heading out to wait at the bus stop, and within a few minutes of her getting on the bus it was all over and the sun rose into a bright blue sky

Soooooo windy here. Nearly got blown over at lunchtime! A lovely cold bright day apart from that.

I can see anvil clouds to the east of us although they have now turned to black cotton wool types - seems to be a long band of them going across there. Here it's been dry and sunny for the most part. Managed to clean the cube at long last. But it is in need of a power shower for sure, so will need a nicer day for that.

I need some fine weather at least two weeks worth as the builders haven't yet started on the loft conversion because of the weather.

It was lovely here at first, but soon went off and we had lashing gales and driving rain by lunchtime. That cleared by the end of the day and it is cold and clear out there now. At least the wind has dropped and I won't be woken tonight by neighbours' wheelie bins scudding along the road!

Apparently we had a shower around lunchtime - I didn't notice, but mum did because her washing was on the line! But we continued to have clear sky above us and although it was a bit windy, not as bad today. Still clear and there's a bright moon out there.

Chink of blue sky but then we got that yesterday in the morning and it lashed down all day.

Very windy overnight but seems calmer today.

Weekend forecast for Stratford is better well Friday anyway

It was 6deg when I got up this morning - not too bad I thought, but by an hour later it had gone down to 3.3deg - I checked the thermometer twice just to be sure!

 

Quite bright though.
