Does anybody ever feel ..... Part # 8

Recommended Posts

I'm still annoyed with myself for not seeing they were boys really  I could have sorted it when they were day old chicks and found homes for 4 and not just Fry (and the person that said they'll have fry hasn't replied yet )

I told him I can't just take in one,but he thinks I'm just making excuses to take more in - the Brilley and a CCL are going in, he can hardly send me home with a chick

Have you had any results from the hospital about your heart monitor yet, or does it take a while longer?

Lewis you need to tell the teacher off - 2 it must be. And then swapsies???? Fingers crossed.

Fingers crossed for you too Spaceywacey.

After watching CSI Miami on my own with OH catching flies apart from fast forwarding through the adverts (why oh why oh why does he insist on guarding the remote, but sleep through the blooming programme?) - I told him to go to bed. That was 9.30.

Big day tomorrow. We will find out in the morning whether DS will get home relatively on time. FIL collecting from the airport if all's well and OH's cuz coming here, will wait for FIL's call and we will zip off to MIL and FIL's house to pick up the offspring. Oooh The Offspring - like them too - one of the songs comes to mind - it's one I tend to sing with DS in earshot - "lalalala why don't you get a job?"

OOH and our driveways are going to be redone at the weekend, we are also having a new path laid - old paving slabs are going to be relocated in the greenhouse and under the cube as it is sinking at funny angles in the dirt and the run is going banana shaped.

:dance::mrgreen::dance:

I've sorted the problem.

I've found someone that will take all the cockerels and he also has 1 light sussex bantam and 2 speckled sussex bantams for sale (and 2 buff rock bantams which I might look at for my aunt + uncle). We're going tomorrow at 4ish to go and get them

It'll be sad to see the cockerels go but theres no way we can keep them.

Now to think about balancing intro's . I've got a spare guinea pig run and carry crate that I might use :D

I'll come out and play, PurpleTree!

Ooh, sounds pretty Debs. Oh and don't mention Cardiff to OH - although he doesn't sulk much with regards to Reading! They usually lose at home anyway.

Great result Lewis. Oooh more piccies to come.

The Prodigal son is home - and very tired. It worked very nicely - they caught the plane with a few minutes to spare at Philly. They must have been on the jet stream because they arrived an hour earlier - FIL brought them here (MIL playing golf, ahh pity I missed her :liar: ). In the meantime OH's cuz arrived here in time to see a Red Arrow fly past. She said "what was that?" and I said "oh it's only a Red Arrow" - didn't mean to sound blase, but it sort of came out that way. Then FIL had a cuppa and went home, the boys and cuz had lunch here and then went home. Just before 2pm all the Red Arrows did a fly past in formation - out the front of the house this time - heading towards Farnborough. Now I wonder why they are here again. I get rather excited when they come up close - I wonder if they'll be going back again later?

DD was watching The Omen earlier - I've been in that church to hear our banns being read - just up the road from MIL - hmmm, that's a thought  It is still a creepy place!

Are you worn out yet Purpleywurpleytree?

I'm getting a bit tired now.

Just made a cottage pie for tea and washed all the pots

Dan's fallen asleep on the sofa, after wrapping himself up in my long cardie. He's looking very sweet. 11.gif

Olly's asleep in Dan's bed. Bliss for 5 minutes before I have to wake them up for tea, otherwise they won't go to sleep tonight.

Reading are a really good side, I remember going up for a game to the Majeski on the 2nd January a good few years back, they hammered us 5-1, its a tough ground to go to.

Although, its great that we had a good win yesterday, I'm happy with 1-0 particularly as we went down to 10 men :dance:
