Omlet app update does not work on ios27

I need to clear out my auboise again and we do blast the slabs with the power washer, however I think it might be a good idea to swoosh them over with some chicken disinfectant once in a while and I was wondering if you use anything to wash your slabs and if so what you use?

Thanks

I pressure wash and then sprinkle with Stalosan powder.

[Ain't Nobody Here]

Poultry Shield?

Virkon S is good, it comes in a sachet and you mix it with water, it seems to kill all sorts of nasties so would be good for an occassional deep clean

I use Virkon S on BIG clean-out days........Stalosan on general cleans

I was thinking Virkon S and then garden lime.

After lambing in the sheds they get the tractors in to get rid of all the straw, then cover the floor in lime so it should be ok?

[Cooks]

I use Stalosan for my concrete base and it works a treat

[xScrunchee]

I just use bog standard cheapo disinfectant. I make sure that I rinse it really well and my lot are all fine I only give it a mega wash every few months though. The rest of the time I just shovel it, s"Ooops, word censored!"e it and sweep it then put the clean stuff down

[Valkyrie]

Just limed and Stalosaned ours.

If a really big clean I rake all the aubiose up sprinkle stalosan down all over the ground and then new aubiose. For the cube/eglu I wash down with a power hose and spray some animal friendly disinfectant (got it from Omlet) all over on the bars and inside/outside and leave to dry and then puff round red mite and diatom and line with fresh paper and aubiose - it feels so nice when all clean.

For the slabs we have down and any added stuff like tree stumps I brush them over with a hard brush, spray with the disinfectant and power hose the slabs and sprinkle with stalosan.

Its quite cathartic actually!!! Shame I dont feel the same about the housework!

I use Poultry shield for cleaning, then sprinkle with Stalosan F (dry powder). I also mix Stalosan into my bucket of auboise. Stalsan should be sprinkled daily for the 1st week of use and then just once a week sprinkle to keep it topped up in keeping the run hygenic.

Lime and Stalosan is good, Bio-Dry is the same as Stalosan and good too. There's a new disinfectant out, which comes in powder (to mix with water) and liquid form, just off to search for a link....

Here it is. I've been using it to clean the feeders and drinkers.

And this one is the powder

Saw this at our supplier yesterday. What is the difference between it and Stalosan?

[The Dogmother]

That new one is a powder that you have to dilute in water. I have tried it for disinfecting the drinkers etc and it's food grade too, so can be used around the house like Milton. You could wash slabs down with it; I have taught my pup to piddle on some slabs at the bottom of the garden - I wash it down regularly with this stuff.

Stalosan is a powder and doesn't dilute in water, it is excellent at mopping up damp and has an ammonia (urine smell) inhibitor in it, so good to sprinkle in the poo trays and the run.

Thanks.

We use Stalosan F for our run slabs. Hadn't thought of putting it in the poo trays.

[The Dogmother]

It will cut down on any smell and keep it all dry.

thank you
