We've had wedding pics, so lets have some bridesmaid (or even better page boy!) pics!

 

Here are mine - in the 60s no less! But I think I was only in the one formal shot before I sat down in a corner and protested. The dresses were pale pink duchesse satin

Those beehive hairdos remind me of the first time, at my brother's wedding circa 1969. I've been a bridesmaid three times, not sure if I can find any pics but I'll have a look.

I waited 31 years to be a bridesmaid and eventually was one last November to my wonderful bestfriend see below. She was my bridesmaid and her mum was my mums bridesmaid many moons ago!

 

 

My son was my other best friend's page boy

 

Lastly I know this is a cheat but this was my wedding day!

No photos here, fortunately! I think I looked rather like Snowy, utterly disgusted by the event Mine was yellow duchesse satin *vomit* I was about five or six and hated every minute of wearing that hideous dress.

I seem to remember slight bluey turquoise with small polka dots and a peach puffey dress, fine for darker haired girls my I was blonde, I got lost in the dress somewhere...

My first time it was a pink number and I don't Do pink. I was 17 and it was my cousins wedding.

 

The second time was 7 years ago for my friend. My outfit was stunning, but I was hideously fat at the time so I just look awful What doesn't help is that Phil was best man, and he just looked so handsome, I felt I had really let him down as all the photos of us together are just gross

The only time i was a bridesmaid i was about 5 and i refused to wear the dress and do the ceramony until someone said that i could have a pair of roller blades. So i dutifully did the ceramony and then after the first photo said "Can i have my roller blades" and some fool gave them to me so every photo in the wedding i had these fisher price yellow and orange roller blades on with a white dress with red roses on it in the style of a little bo peep dress. I'll have a dig around and see if i can find one.

I think my mother has all the old wedding and bridesmaid photos, suffice to say that I was never happy with what I had to wear - not apink and frilly girl myself.

 

Rosie always wanted to be a bridesmaid when she was tiny, but it never happened. She's stopped mentioning it now.

I was bridesmaid for my hubby's sister in 2006. She was my bridesmaid in 2002. I was about 10 weeks pregnant with Oliver, so I was absolutely shattered by the end of the evening, and we hadn't told many people because I hadn't had my 12 week scan yet.

 

Here's a closer one of Danny, he was about 20months. He loved wearing the suit, although it was a roasting hot day.

Oh my word, I've just remembered that I have been a bridesmaid . To my cousin when I was 14 . How could I have forgotten that dress (little flowers and pink frilly braiding, made by my aunt ).
