jimnpaula
Any ideas? I'm asking because my girls seem to prefer the purple grub over the red one. (I can't compare the glugs as one's a superglug) Maybe I'll try an experiment with the coop pots P
Fur 'n' Feathers
Ours definately can discriminate between green and other colours. Their treat bowl is lime green & they create a racket when they see us carrying it down, whereas at other times they don't take much notice (unless we move towards the run door! Chucky1
They can certainly see red. Makes I larf when OH paints her toenails and wears opened toed shoes. The gals thinks its treat time times 10.

Redwing
I am sure they can see red as apparently they peck at it - hence why chick dishes are usually red Also I have read a few comments about people with blue Eglus finding that their chickens peck at the blue door! CrazyDaizy
Hia Folks I assumed all birds can see in colour. This is why they have such colourful feathers, and usually males are the most colourful in order to attract the females. So I expect it must be the same with chickens since they are birds too
