Busybird
Your chooks have a gazebo over their run to keep them dry (runs to close curtains in case soggy chooks outside see conditions others enjoy and decide to stop producing eggs in protest ) Gorgeous girlies - love the photos
Tigerfrogg
Thanks for the lovely comments. I put the gazebo there 3 days in advance to keep the ground dry for the Omlet guys so they wouldnt get covered in muck during assembly. Choosing the girls names was funny as having 2 young boys we werent going to get away with pretty girl names, hence the transformer theme, does feel a bit weird asking Optimus Prime if she wants some sweetcorn

docsquid
Gorgeous! My soggy chooks would be jealous! They have a winter shade on the Cube but have eschewed this for the delights of a wet garden today. They all look gorgeous and I love the names! Tigerfrogg
Blimey its the 2nd day its now 5pm and all the chooks just did a conga up the ladder and into the cube for the night, what well behaved little ladys. last night the GF went into the run and placed them through the door as I shone a light through from behind. So after dreading getting them used to going to bed they just did it all themselves
Plum
Great girls and pics. Can see the gazebo is for you and the chicken watchers really. Have you a bar set up in there?

Tigerfrogg
The gazebo was only for assembly really but since it has rained almost constantly it has become a great place to stand and be mesmerized by there funny little ways. I am even going to keep it as long as it survives now i am going to secure it with a storm strap so it wont go anywhere. I dont have a bar in there but a flask of tea tomorrow i think
