Suzi is finally going for her Spay op today.UPDATED VEST PIC

Recommended Posts

yes the day is finally here, the madam is going for her nip and tuck this morning and I feel sick to my stomach about it. Anyone that knows me outside the forum knows I am potty about her in a silly way so I am not good this morning.

I have the baby vests a forum member sent me for ehr to wear after the op so she doesn't lick her wound, I dont do those nec lampshades, far to hard for them.

I will post a pic of her in her vest if I get chance when shes out and recovering.

Wish her luck please.

I'm sure it will all run smoothly today. Good luck Suzi!

The strangest thing we found with Lola was having her home later and her just sleeping the whole evening rather than running around at full speed indoors! She then returned to her normal self the day after. Ooh and we were told to keep her on a lead for walks for 10 days which was a nightmare. I was naughty though and let her off after 7 days when i took her dog training as we take the dogs for a run in the field first.

We definately need to see a vest photo!

she is home and loving the attention, she's had a light meal of scrambled eggs as per the vets orders and loved every bit. She's sporting a lovely white little vest and two red 'socks' on her back feet where she had two dew claws removed as they were necessary.

I have to go to the vets tomorrow for a quick check up with her. Thanks all for your good luck wishes. Thanks also to Palmer07 who came over to my house today and took me shopping, this got my mind off things for a while. :)

well we went for her vet check this morning and all is well, I slept downstairs with her last night so she didn't try to climb the stairs. I will do this for a few nights as with all my dogs.

She looks darling in her vest and I am just about to post a picture of her in it as soon as it's uploaded. ;)

edited to add photo as requested.

Thanks :D I have past on everything to her but she said she would like me to tell you all that she is EXTRA brave as she had her dew claws as well..

Bless her heart, I am just about to make her some scrambled egg for dinner. The vet was lovely with her this morning, she loves all his attention. :)

Stitches out in approx 10 days... :)

She is really cute! Glad the op went well.

Howcome she had to have her dew claws out? Our last dog Poppy had hers out but when we asked if Lola would have hers out they said no it wasn't necessary. They said they only take them out if they were hanging off or if they were going to be working dogs.

She is adorable, what a little star :D

Shame about the duvet though!! :notalk::lol:

Bracken is fine thanks :) , she just went in for some exploratory xrays/tests.

Yes the duvet is an old one, we all actually support Tottenham but OS went through a 'stage' where he though Man U were ok, so hence we have an old duvet, which is now known as the rubbish duvet..

I am glad Bracken is ok, had me worried there for a min, I love that girl. :)

oh bless :D hope she is feeling better (I must say she looked rather comfortable  )

piperkit sends snuggles (she can, cos suzi is only little and she isnt frightened of little doggles  )

cathy

 no she is no size to be frightened of  I have yet to see a cat smaller than her..

She had her Dew claws removed on her back legs due to the fact that they were little skin type 'toes' hanging and flopping around really, they were not really causing her any problems but they could do in the future so rather than have to have them removed at a later stage we had them done now to save her having an anesthetic again. :)
