I always get them mixed up......

Recommended Posts

Rhys Ifans & Mackenzie Crook

Robert de Niro & Al Pacino

John Hannah & James Nesbit

Joseph Fiennes & Jake Gyllenhal

Colin Salmon & Chiwetel Ejiofor

Kate Beckinsale & Rachel Wiesz

They are all similar types I suppose, but I reckon there must be lots of people you always get mixed up with someone else?

On this forum I always confuse CraftyHunnyPie and Chicky Chicky Chicennn! (sorry, I know that later name is not right :?:?

And it was a long while before I realised that Scramble and Scrambled were 2 different people!

I can see why you mix up the people you mentioned, except for John Hannah and James Nesbitt. John Hannah is gorgeous, while Mr Nesbitt makes my skin crawl :lol::lol:

My Grandmother would never get my name right.... I came at the end of a long list she would real off....

First her eldest son, then youngest son, then my eldest male cousin, then my youngest male cousin, then my younger brothers name. She would then try my aunts name, my mums name, before eventually trying mine.

Took her a good 30 seconds to get to my name!

But then I am so hopeless with names, I get all the famous people muddled up... I end up referring to people as Thingy - my OH then has to translate.

...................it was until I told my children it was 'him from the BT ads' & they said no Mum, its Johnathan from 'The Mummy':lol::lol::lol:[/q

and when you said "him from the BT ads" did you mean "him" [as in James Nesbitt from the Yellow Pages ads] or "him" as that blonde one who actually is in the BT ads?

Mum's just back from staying with my brother - apparently he's been calling his baby daughter by my daughter's name!

That's OK - I call OH my brother's name and my brother is called my son's name. My nan used to go through all her sisters names until she got to the name she wanted - mum said why she went through her sisters first and not her daughters she will never know. Well the same was done with me but with my mum and aunt added to the long list. She never got my brother's name wrong did she!

For me it's Robbie Carlisle & Christopher Eccleston

Regarding getting names wrong, I used to work for a friend & in work once I called him by my husbands name & he replied by saying "yes, Lois" (his wife's name) in my defence DH is Kev & friend is Trev

Thankfully I'm one of only 3 children so my great Auntie Edie always used to call me aPaul aNige Amanda

Gordon Brown called Reece Renee at some do last week apparently. Not sure if thats just the name that confused him as I don't think they look at all alike.

I call my DD by my sister's name a lot (my sister's middle name is my DD's first name) and my sons are usually TJack or JTom. :D
