So much for her helping with the ironing - she did one shirt in each pile and I did the lot because I didn't want to come back to it after Christmas. I don't like Stolen usually because it's always been hard (probably should have been eaten earlier). So just now Muz and mum had a slice - no it's not hard try some. So I had a bite of Muz's and pleh - peel! Pleh Pleh PLEH! Gagging somewhat I spat it in the bin. Followed by several Jim Carrey impersonations and gulping coffee. The peel stuck to my tooth. That comes second to beetroot in my book. Can't get to grips with this Christmas - I'm trying but I really feel as though I'll be glad when it's over. I had an accident with a jam tart - spilt hot jam on my finger, hopped and the whole tart fell upside down on the hotplate - managed to scoop it all up - I'm having the rest of it when it cools down. Gotta have testers and I've tested the pies already! Not having our usual takeaway tonight - too dangerous. We have, however, enjoyed the circus out the front for the second day in a row. Who needs TV when cars are doing triple salkos in the road. I think we laughed too loud at next door (he only comes home for Saturday nights usually) wheels spinning stones flying and still he tried and tried and he went indoors to hide after hearing us when he eventually got out - leaving the car in the middle of the road. He had to move it when another of our neighbours came home and parked perfectly! A friend popped round and saw the birds for the first time "OH MY GOD - THEY'RE HUGE!" When she saw the Orpies. Murray and Erin had to push her car out of the road too. So we're doing a DIY Chinese tonight instead, night all.
