Well today is December 21st which means it's Winter Solstice time. Whilst I don't enjoy dark mornings and dark evenings, I love the Winter Solstice because I know from now on the days are getting LONGER!!!!

It will soon be summer!

I have a friend who is a druid, so will celebrating today, I doubt anyone will be 'sky clad' tonight given how nippy it is

I grew 40 last year and it wasn't enough.

I'm so happy to be called a geek - even if it is a leek geek! I can't remember off hand but I think 3 varieties plus the seeds I already have. I've usually been a bean freak or a tomato twit in the past.

Yeh longer days coming. Maybe one day it will be light when I go to work and light when I get home. Oh how I took those evenings sat in the garden with a cup of coffee for granted.
